COUPEROSE AND ROSACEA
WHAT IS
Coupersose?
Rosacea presents as a network of dense, tight blood vessels against a background of redness. It is usually localized to the cheeks, cheekbones and nose.
Couperose is sometimes confused with rosacea and we often hear the two terms used in the same sense, but couperose is actually one of the most common symptoms of rosacea, the dilation of very small blood vessels.

Treatments
Dye-VL technology is a pulsed light that specifically treats red areas. This technology is used to treat particularly extensive vascular lesions in areas such as the cheeks, neck, cheekbones and décolleté. The Dye-VL light generates heat which coagulates the vessels and causes the lesion to disappear.
Pulsed light treatments are non-aggressive, progressive, almost painless and safe.
The heat triggers collagen stimulation which restores skin radiance, improves skin tone and suppleness.
